Mirexus Inc. is a start-up company which is commercializing a novel “green” technology based on polysaccharide sub-micron particles that can be used in a wide variety of applications, ranging from cosmetics to foods to architectural coatings to drug delivery in medicine. This technology was originally developed at the University of Guelph with financial support from the Ontario Centres of Excellence and the Advanced Foods and Materials Network. Mirexus is currently seeking partnerships with industry to develop innovative products based on this technology.

Our goal is to fulfill the rapidly growing global demand for eco-friendly polymers produced from sustainable sources which enhance the performance of consumer products without an increase in cost.
