PhytoSpherix® confers increased phase stability and storage stability.
- Is readily soluble in water
- Is non-ionic and offers excellent compatibility with other ingredients
- Is stable from pH 3-10, and up to 180°C
- Only requires a small dose to achieve great results

Formulating with PhytoSpherix®
Typical usage level ranges from 0.05 – 0.3% depending on the application and desired effect.
Moisturizing Creams:
0.1 - 0.2% when used alone, or 0.05 - 0.1% when used in combination with other actives (i.e. hyaluronic acid)
Anti-aging Formulas:
0.1 - 0.3%
EVEn SKIN tone Formulas:
0.1 - 0.3%

PhytoSpherix®
Facial Moisturizer
Procedure:
- Disperse PhytoSpherix® in water with moderate agitation. Combine glycerin and xanthan gum in a clean beaker and disperse mixture in phase A. Heat to 75° C.
- Combine phase B ingredients in a separate, clean beaker, and heat to 75° C.
- Add phase B to phase A and mix at 1200 rpm until homogeneous.
- Add phase C ingredients when the temperature has decreased to 40° C. Continue to mix at 400 rpm until thoroughly mixed.
- Adjust pH with phase D

PhytoSpherix®
Eye Cream
Procedure:
- Disperse PhytoSpherix® in water with moderate agitation. Combine glycerin and xanthan gum in a clean beaker and disperse mixture in phase A. Heat to 75° C.

PhytoSpherix®
Facial Serum
Procedure:
- Disperse PhytoSpherix® in glycerin with moderate agitation. In a clean beaker, combine the PhytoSpherix® and glycerin mixture with water. Mix by hand or with a mixer on a low setting until fully dispersed. Add the rest of the ingredients in phase A one by one until the mixture achieves a uniform appearance.
- Add phase B ingredients to adjust pH and continue to mix thoroughly.
-Note: as the pH is adjusted the mixture will start to increase in viscosity

PhytoSpherix®
Serum Anti-Imperfection
Procedure:
- Disperse PhytoSpherix® and Niacinamide in propanediol by hand in a beaker or watch glass.
- In a clean beaker, combine the mixture with water under medium agitation until fully dispersed.
- Sprinkle the Acrylate on the surface without shaking and wait 10min for the powder to hydrate.
- When the powder is transparent, put the agitation back.
- Add phase B to adjust the pH between 6 – 7,5 under strong agitation.
- Add the preservative.
-Note: as the pH is adjusted the mixture will start to increase in viscosity.
Avoid adding to an acidic product, ideal final pH of product should be 6. Should not be combined with l-ascorbic acid. It can hydrolyze and form nicotinic acid at higher or lower pH, which can result in skin irritation
